With the Meeting starting at 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm.

Presidents Message Oct 2024:

I was sorry to miss the first meeting – I was looking forward to

“Out of the blue” competition and saying hello to everyone.

I saw the award winners on the Web.

Artists Spotlight: Barrie Folsom

• Free Raffle to win fabulous artbooks
• Critique – It’s really just suggestions to help improve your painting. Please bring you paintings.

This will be a monthly event.

Program: Sharon Menary

It’s all about Color:

Mixing paints, warm versus cool, transparent vs opaque, granulating

Member participation – please bring:

Watercolor paper 1-2 sheets, Brushes, water container, paper towels, garbage bag, ruler, pencil, notebook

Paints: Cad Red, Alizarin Crimson, Cad Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue and Cerulean Blue

Hospitality provided by the Summerlin Artists this month.

We need a permanent hospitality host as Laura & Jeff are unable to continue.

Next Meeting we will have Heather Harmon, Executive Director of the LV Museum as our speaker.
